Only seven minutes later, striker Samson scored a goal for Hanoi T&T to restore justice to the scoreline, forcing the game into a penalty shoot-out to decide the winners.
Hanoi T&T gained a big advantage during the penalty shoot-out when two players of Ninh Binh couldn't find the net.
However, Ninh Binh made a comeback and won the match when its goalkeeper Manh Dung was successful in blocking three shots of Hanoi T&T players.
Super Cup winners Ninh Binh received a cash prize of VND200 million (US$9,400) while Hanoi T&T took home VND100 million (US$4,700).
