Ninh Binh authorities present Tet gifts to poor households, beneficiaries
On February, 4, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Hong Quang led a delegation to visit the staff of Army hospital No. 5. Hhe wished the hospital's staff a joyful Tet holiday and expressed her hope that the doctors and nurses would apply more advanced technologies in treatment.
On the same day, Thanh delivered Tet gift packages to old, poor people and beneficiaries in Ninh Binh city.
On behalf of the local Party and authority, Mr Quang extended his gratitude for the sacrifices the revolutionary contributors and their families made during wartime.
He asked authorities of all levels to provide better care to the disadvantaged, especially when the Tet holiday is coming near.
In Nho Quan district, a delegation of provincial leaders, headed by Pham Quang Ngoc, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ninh Binh provincial peoples committee paid a visit to the Nho Quan Convalescent Center.
At the function, the Chairman expressed his deep gratitude to war invalids and people who rendered services to the nation for their great contributions to national liberation and development.
Mr Ngoc spoke highly of center's staffs efforts in caring for wound soldiers in the past years
He also ask Center's staffs need to pay better care to wound soldiers in the coming time, contributing to relief injuries that they are suffering.
On this occasion, delegation presented gifts to patients, doctors and staffs in the center.
Later, Mr Ngoc and his delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to mother of martyr, wound soldier, and poor houssehold in the Nho Quan district.
On this occasion, other officials also made pre-Tet visits and presented Tet gifts to local contributors, and the disadvantaged in Tam Diep city, Yen Khanh, Gia Vien, Hoa Lu and Kim son districts
Ninh Binh has allocated more than VND26.5 billion to prepare gifts for local revolutionary contributors and needy households as the Lunar New Year holiday approaches.
