Ninh Binh athletes win medals at 2021 National Karate Championship

The event attracted the participation of 268 athletes from 32 teams of provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Ninh Binh's team included four athletes competing in four categories: male individual kata; male team kata; female individual kata and mix team kata.  

During the tournament, three cases of COVID-19 were detected, so the tournament must be stopped. As the result, the organising board decided to award medals to athletes basing on their competition results.

Ninh Binh athletes successfully won three medals, including two gold and one silver medals.

The two gold medals went to Pham Minh Duc in the male individual kata category, and the trio of Giang Viet Anh, Le Hong Phuc, Pham Minh Duc in the male team kate category. Do Ha My secured the silver medal in the female individual kata category.
