Currently, there over 200,000 workers working in industrial zones and clusters in the province. Their housing demand is huge since all industrial zones and clusters have not had houses for workers. Meanwhile, some social housing projects have been carried out slowly.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son said it has requested related units to allocate land for building houses for workers when zoning off industrial zones while ensuring synchronic technical and social infrastructure for workers in these IZs.
At the same time, housing projects must have houses for rent for workers in line with their demand and ensure technical and social infrastructure as well as traffic, health, education and culture facilities.
Ninh Binh set a target of completing 3,100 social houses by 2030. Of which, 2,300 houses will be completed in the period of 2021-2025 while 800 others will be built in the period of 2026-2030.
