The farewell ceremony for newly-recruited soldiers in Yen Khanh district was attended by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh, Commander of the provincial High Command Colonel Dinh Cong Thanh, and leaders of the district.
This year, Yen Khanh district has 274 new recruits, of whom 38 voluntarily applied for joining the army and 16 have university and college degrees. Some of them were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the ceremony in Kim Son district saw the attendance of Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang.
Up to 315 young people in Kim Son district are eligible to serve in the military and public security forces. Of them, 30 youths will be serving in the public security force, and the rest will be joining army units in the province and other localities nationwide.
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien and leaders of Ninh Binh city presented gifts to young people joining the army at the send-off ceremony in Ninh Binh city on the same day.
In 2020, 87 youths in the city joined the army, of whom 20 will be serving in the public security force.
The same day, all eight districts and cities in the province also completed the hand-over of newly-conscripted soldiers to the army units and public security force.
