These animals include monkeys, wild cats, civets, cobras and hawks. They will be released into some places that suitable to their living habits inside the special protection area of the Cuc Phuong National Park.
Before being released back into the Cuc Phuong National Park, these animals had been rescued and cared in Hanoi's center for wild animal rescue. They were examined and monitored for their eating habits, health conditions as well as their re-adaptation capacity of each species.
Cuc Phuong is the first national park of Vietnam to have many years of experience in rescuing and taking care for wild animals.
To date, Cuc Phuong has carried out hundreds of re-releases with thousands of animals of different species, into its primeval forest and many national parks and other nature reserves nationwide.
The efforts of the Cuc Phuong National Park together with the assistance of domestic and international organisations, experts and volunteers have raise public awareness, thus helping to rescue many wild animals from extinction and maintain biological diversity and natural ecological balance.
