Nho Quan district holds Culture and Sports Festival of Ethnic Minorities 2023

A large number of ethnic minority people in Nho Quan district and visitors participated in the Culture and Sports Festival of Ethnic Minorities 2023, which was organised from March 17 to 19. The event helped turn ethnic minority culture into a typical tourism product of the mountainous district of Nho Quan.
In the cool weather of spring, local people of all ages wearing their traditional costumes enthusiastically took part in numerous activities at the festival, such as an opening ceremony, sport activities, art performances, camping, folk games and a trade fair showcasing cultural and agricultural products and specialties of the district.
Visitors and people joined in traditional folk games like crossbow, stilt walking, "con" throwing, and bamboo swings.
The festival has enriched the spiritual life for local ethnic communities and to help the locality implement the Party resolution on "Building and developing the Vietnamese culture imbued national identity", thereby leaving a good impression on tourists.
