Nearly 958,000 tourists visit Ninh Binh during Tet holidays
Accordingly, the number of international tourists was 42,000, an increase of 13% compared to the same period of 2018, while the number of domestic tourists was 916,000, an increase of 3.3%.
Most visitors went to the province's popular attractions, such as Trang An, Tam Coc, Bai Dinh, Thung Nham Valley, and more.
The increase of holiday-makers to Ninh Binh is attributed to the interesting programmes, and diverse tourism products like Bai Dinh flower valley, Trang An, Thung Nham Valley, which hosted a series of art performances and cultural activities to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year.
In addition, traffic and social safety in the destinations were ensured.
On February 10th(the sixth day of the first lunar month) when the Bai Dinh festival opened, Ninh Binh welcomed over 8,000 delegates, monks, and nuns from all over the country.
