Nearly 5.4 mln tourist arrivals to Ninh Binh in first half of 2019

In the first half of the year, the northern province of Ninh Binh welcomed around 5.4 million tourists in the first half of this year, up nearly 2.17 percent year-on-year, and earned a tourism revenue of 2.3 trillion VND.

The figure included 435,000 foreign visitors, showing a rise of more than 4.1 percent, and over 4.9 million domestic visitors, a small rise of 2 percent against same period last year.
In 2019, the provincial tourism sector set a goal of welcoming 7.5 million visitors in which outbound tourists will reach 940 thousands.
