On March 2 and 3, nearly 200 Vietnamese people who returned from the Republic of Korea (RoK) were brought to two military units in Ninh Binh province for concentrated quarantine in an effort to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 caused acute respiratory disease (COVID-19).
The quarantine areas are located in the barracks of Regiment 855 and the provincial military school.
Earlier, Regiment 855 and the military school had prepared sufficient facilities and personnel to receive these people for quarantine.
At the designed units, buses which carried the people to the quarantine areas are thoroughly disinfected, while all of them were provided health checks-up before coming to their rooms.
These people are the first Vietnamese group returning from the RoK undergoing quarantine in Ninh Binh. They are students and workers from Ninh Binh and neighboring provinces.
