Nearly 120,000 Tet gift packages presented to trade union members and workers in Ninh Binh

The sum was used to provide financial support for disadvantaged trade union members; hold Tet programmes; organise Zero-dong fairs for workers; and hand over Tet  gift packages to those who could not return home to welcome Tet.

Besides, labour unions at enterprises organised numerous Tet programmes for workers such as art performances and lucky draws to entertain workers.

According to the initial statistics, trade unions at all levels disbursed the money from funds and donations from individuals, organisations, units and businesses both in and outside the province to support the underprivileged workers, or those who lost their jobs or halted working, sick workers during the Tet holiday with a total sum of over 53 billion VND.
