National Tennis Championship 2024 opens in Ninh Binh
The event is co-organised by Ninh Binh's Department of Sports and Culture, the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Tennis Federation.
The championship has attracted the participation of 17 teams with 150 coaches and athletes from clubs, provinces and centrally-run cities nationwide.
The players will compete in five categories: men's individual, women's individual, men's double, women's double, and mixed double.
The championship is scheduled to last for seven days (from September 16 to 22).
On this occasion, the organisers presented 120 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province to support victims of typhoon Yagi and subsequent floods.The money was donated by coaches and athletes participating in the tournament.
