NA opens 9th working session

The 9th working session is devided into two phases, with the first phase lasting from May 20 to May 29 in form of video conferenceand the second phase will take place from June 8-18 during which law-makers gathers at the Legislature's Hall.

Following the opening remarks, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will deliver a report on COVID-19 prevention and control and major solutions to restart the economy.

Vu Hong Thanh, Chairman of the NA Economic Committee will present a report on supplementary evaluation of socio-economic development plan in 2019 and socio-economic performance in the first months of 2020.

Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh will read proposals asking the legislative body to approve the Viet Nam-EU free trade agreement (EVFTA) and the investment protection agreement (EVIPA).
