NA delegation inspects implementation of thrift practice and wastefulness prevention in Ninh Binh

In the 2016-2021 period,  the work on thrift practice and wastefulness prevention has been implemented promtly.

Specifically, the building of norms, standards and regimes has been actively implemented.

The effectiveness of using and allocating state budget has been paid attention while the state budget collection has been strictly controlled; resources are prioritized for important tasks. 

 The re-organisation of administrative units was carried. Since 2015, Ninh Binh has reduce 177 civil employees. It set up one more department while reducing 30 divisions, 99 public non-productive units and two administrative units at commune level.

 To implement policies and laws on thrift practice and wastefulness prevention effectively, Ninh Binh suggested the NA, Government and ministries soon promulgate Law of Insprection (revised) in line with reality; build a system of electronic transactions of public properties, criteria for the positions of leaders of departments and divisions; the use of state budget, natural resources, environment and state property.

 At the working session, the members of the supervisory team exchanged and clarified a number of contents related to thrift practice and wastefulness prevention in the public sector; the exploitation of natural resources; reducing the number of civil servants; the inspection work and handling of violated cases.

 In his conclusion, Phuong spoke highly of the province's outcomes in implementing policies and laws on thrift practice and wastefulness prevention in using and managing resouces over the past time.

He asked Ninh Binh to gasp ideas given by members of the supervision delegation to finalise its draft report and focus on handling its weaknesses to createbreakthough after the working session.
