Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang pays pre-Tet visit to Ninh Binh

Receiving Quang and his delegation were Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh; Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Council Nguyen Tien Thanh, and others.

During the meeting, Thanh reported to Quang on the socio-economic achievements of the province in 2014. Last year, the local economy grew by 9.83 percent, the state budget collection reached nearly 3 trillion VND (140 million USD), and the rate of poor households was reduced to 3.92 percent.

Ninh Binh province has presented over 86,000 Tet gift packages to poor, disadvantaged people and other beneficiaries in the province on occasion of the Lunar New Year.Quang spoke highly of the province's efforts in implementing the socio-economic tasks set for 2014 and underscored the need to maintain political security and social order to implement socio-economic tasks for 2015. Ninh Binh should ensure necessary conditions for people to enjoy a happy, safe and healthy Tet holiday, he stressed.
