A leader of the management board of forestry projects under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said the project has completed all of its legal procedures, land site and other necessary conditions serving the planting of 250 hectares of new mangrove forest and restoration of 80 other hectares.
Later, delegates joined others in planting hundreds of trees in the Con Noiarea of Kim Son district.
The five-year project has total funding of 4.39 million USD, with 3.79 million USD coming from the RoK's non-refundable aid. It targets growing 250 hectares of new mangrove forests and restoring 80 hectares in Kim Sondistrict of Ninh Binh, and at Xuan Thuy National Park in Nam Dinh province.
