Mechanisation of agriculture in Ninh Binh reaps fruitful outcomes

The mechanisation of agriculture has helped to replace manual labour, ensure the times of harvesting and planting, increase productivity, quality of farm produce and improve income of farmers.

Currently, there are nearly 300 agricultural machines in the province, including rice transplanters, agricultural drones, harvesting machines, rice dryers, and rice straw baling machines.

The participation of these agricultural machines in farming activities has increased remarkably, reaching 98% in tilling, over 95% in irrigation, nearly 80% in pesticide, 93% in harvesting and nearly 30% in planting.

At the same time, machines has been used in transporting and processing agricultural products, pressing oil, baling straw, husking and drying rice and vacuuming.

Local agricultural cooperatives and enterprises have been encouraged to build processing chains in a bid to increase values of farm produce and income for farmers.

Thanks to these, the values of local farm produce have been raised and many local products have been sold in other provinces nationwide.

The efficiency of mechanisation of agriculture has helped increase productivity and quality of farm produce and income of local farmers. Therefore, in the coming time, the sector will continue to disseminating and supporting farmers to use machines in their agricultural production activities in an attempt to increase productivity and create farm produce with high values of each region and locality.
