LPBank Ninh Binh secure first win at Asian Women's Volleyball Cup 2024

Vietnam's number-one volleyball representative LPBank Ninh Binh earned their first victory at the Asian Women's Volleyball Cup 2024 by defeating their rivals Monolith Sky Risers of the Philippines on September 23.
Spiker Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen with her powerful attacks and her teammates brought the first victory to LPBank Ninh Binh. Coach Thai Thanh Tung's players beat their rivalsthree straight sets (25-15; 25-20; 25-22).
The Philippine team has numerous national players, especially Alyssa Solomon who was always the destination of passes from her teammates.
However, middle blockers Le Thanh Thuy and Nguyen Thi Trinh almost successfully prevented attacks from their rivals.
With the victory, LPBank Ninh Binh temporarily ranked second in Group B.
The Vietnamese team will play against their Iranian rivals Saipa (Iran) on September 24.
