Local leaders pay pre-Tet visits to policy beneficiaries

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien presented new year gifts to the beneficiaries, the elderly and poor families in the district of Gia Vien.

The Chairman wished them and their families good health, and a prosperous new year.

He also asked the local government continue to taking care of the old people, ensuring spiritual and material life for them. The local government needs to provide practical assistance for the poor families to have a warm and happy Tet holiday.

* On the same day, Chairman of the province People 's Council Tran Hong Quang visited and extended Tet greetings to disadvantaged people and policy beneficiaries and the elderly in Yen Khanh district. Later, he and his entourage presented gifts to children and old people being cared of at the Ninh Binh Social Sponsor Center.

At the function, the Chairman wished the staff and people at the center a warm and happy Tet holiday while presenting 10 million VND to the center.

On January 30, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Chung Phung visited and presented Tet gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers at the Nho Quan nursing centre in Nho Quan district.

After sending New Year wishes to patients, officials and employees at the centre, he asked the staff to continue applying advanced technogies in caring and treating sick and wounded soldiers.

Later on the day, other local leaders including Truong Duc Loc, Mai Van Tuat and Pham Quang Ngoc presented Tet gifts to the staff at Hospitals and Reformatory Center and other needy households, policy beneficiaries in the province.
