Speaking at the meeting with local Catholic dignitaries and followers, Thu Ha attributed the country's socio-economic achievements to efforts of the Vietnamese Catholic community and Catholic followers of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics Ninh Binh branch and Phat Diem Diocese in particular.
She hailed them for actively joining national patriotic emulation movements, especially towards fulfilling the dual goal of fighting COVID-19 and developing the economy.
The Secretary wished that the Catholics of the Phat Diem Diocese would continue working closely with religions to protect the environment and respond to climate change, and carry out practical activities to contribute to the success of the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.
They were asked to continue uphold the tradition of patriotism and solidarity, and build the great national unity bloc.
Bishop An Ton Phan Van Tu of the Phat Diem Diocese vowed to continue following the Party's policies and State's laws, responding to patriotic emulation movements, and joining hands to further develop the nation and the province.
