On January 19, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh led a delegation to visit the staff of Army hospital No. 5. She wished the hospital's staff a joyful Tet holiday and expressed her hope that the doctors and nurses would apply more advanced technologies in treatment.
On the same day, Thanh delivered Tet gift packages to old, poor people and beneficiaries in Ninh Binh city.
On behalf of the local Party and authority, Thanh extended her gratitude for the sacrifices the revolutionary contributors and their families made during wartime.
She asked authorities of all levels to provide better care to the disadvantaged, especially when the Tet holiday is coming near.
In Yen Mo district, a delegation of provincial leaders, headed by Nguyen Tien Thanh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee paid a visit to the Yen Mo mental rehabilitation center and presented Tet gifts to needy people.
On this occasion, other officials also made pre-Tet visits and presented Tet gifts to local contributors, and the disadvantaged in Yen Khanh, Gia Vien, Nho Quan districts and Tam diep city.
