On January 29, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh delivered Tet gift packages to old, poor people and beneficiaries in Ninh Binh city.
On behalf of the local Party and authority, Thanhextended her gratitude for the sacrifices the revolutionary contributors and their families made during wartime.
She asked authorities of all levels to provide better care to the disadvantaged, especially when the Tet holiday is coming near.
The same day, Thanh led a delegation to visit the staff of Army hospital No. 5.She wished the hospital's staff a joyful Tet holiday and expressed her hope that the doctors and nurses would apply more advanced technologies in
treatment.
In Nho Quandistrict, a delegation of provincial leaders, headed by Nguyen Tien Thanh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council,visited and presented Tet gift packages to invalids being cared at the Nho Quan war invalid nursing center, as well as poor households and beneficiaries.

In Yen Mo district, a delegation of provincial and district leaders, led by Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee Dinh Van Dien paid a visit to the Yen Mo mental rehabilitation center and presented Tet gifts to needy people.
