Lao Embassy's delegation pays working visit to Ninh Binh

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc and Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tong Quang Thin received and worked with delegation.

Ha expressed her delight to welcome the Lao ambassador, his spouse and the delegation.

She underscored the special, friendly, loyal and long-lasting relationship between Vietnam and Laos in the past years. Ninh Binh has established a close relationship with Udomxay province of Laos, Ha said.

Ninh Binh's Party Organisation, administration and people have always been aware of and treasured the special relation between the two Parties, States and people of Vietnam and Laos, she said.

Ha briefed her guests about the province's socio-economic situation as well as its potential and strengths.

While informing her guests about the outcomes of cooperation between Ninh Binh and Udomxay and Houphan provinces of Laos in the recent years, Ha expressed her wish that Lao Embassy and the Ambassador would continue to support the expansion of their multi-faced cooperation, especially in social governing and socio-economic development.

For his part, Sengphet said he was impressed by Ninh Binh's historical tradition, cultural values and socio-economic achievements.

He expressed his hope for continued cooperation and coordination from the province in order to further promote the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Ninh Binh and Lao localities, thus nuturing the loyal and long-lasting ties between the Lao and Vietnamese Parties and States.

The ambassador pledged to try his best to contribute to the development of the two countries.

Within the framework of the trip, the delegation visited Hoa Lu University and Dong Giao Foodstuff Export JSC.
