The Asan city envoy held a working session with Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien. The guest was briefed on the province's potentials and strengths, particularly the tourism and construction material industries.Mr. Dien expressed his hope that the visit would help boost cooperation between two localities as well as contributing to deepening the special relations between the two nations.
Kim Sung Tae introduced to the host his city's profile as one of the biggest industrial cities of the Republic of Korea which covers an area of 500 km
2 with a population of 300,000 people. The Asan city, which is about 120km away from capital Seoul, is home to over 2,000 factories and companies, including giants Samsung and Hyundai.The visit aimed to prepare for setting up a twin relationship and cooperation between Asan city and Ninh Binh, the envoy said. It also looked to seek stronger trade and investment partnerships in culture, education, tourism, industry and agriculture, he added.
During his two-day visit, Kim Sung Tae made a fact finding tour to some industrial parks and agricultural models in the province.
