The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam Choi Youngsam and a delegation of the embassy on March 25 paid a working visit to Ninh Binh province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; and Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the reception, Huan briefed the guests on the province's outstanding achievements and hoped the Ambassador will support and connect cooperation between Ninh Binh and localities and organisations of the RoK in the fields of tourism and sport economy.

Ninh Binh also expects to receive assistance and support in cooperation and exchange of experiences in managing, preserving and promoting the values of world natural and cultural heritages as well as developing the semiconductor industry, big data hub, and artificial intelligence, he said.
For his part, Choi thanked the hosts for their warm welcome.
He said that with its high political determination and big aspirations, Ninh Binh would continue to reap more achievements in the coming time.
The Ambassador also committed to do his best to foster cooperative relations between Ninh Binh and the RoK in the coming time.
Many Korean firms highly evaluated the province's support and assistance in the past time, and they wished to receive more support and favourable conditions from Ninh Binh, he said.
The diplomat spoke highly of Ninh Binh's orientations in developing cultural industry, as well as its potential in start-up and innovation. He pledged to continue helping Ninh Binh to lure investments from Korean investors.
Based on Ninh Binh's proposal, the ambassador would send a delegation to the province to explore cooperative opportunities and make suggestions for expanding cooperation in the fields of culture, health and tourism, he added.
