On April 25, the ASEAN - OSHNET, the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) jointly organised a seminar in Ninh Binh, aiming to accelerate social dialogue to improve occupational health and safety.
The seminar is among a series of meaningful activities in the broader framework of the Action plan of ASEAN's countries on occupational health and safety for the 2016 - 2020 period.
During the seminar, experts delivered reports related to the importance of social dialogue, ways to organise social dialogue on improving occupational health and safety; experience and lessons of Vietnam and foreign countries in organising social dialogue on occupational heath and safety.
Also at the event, representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore presented their experience by delivering reports of their achievements, experience of social dialogue on occupational health and safety issues.
