Attending the event were delegates from ministries and agencies, domestic and international scientists, experts and local leaders, among others.
At the workshop, 22 domestic and foreign experts and scientists presented their reports, giving different aspects in resolving the relations between the restoration and preservation of cultural heritages and socio-economic development.
The ideas focused on proposals on policies and suggested issues Ninh Binh needs to settle such as removing hindrances in terms of awareness, mechanisms and policies in a bid to create breakthroughs in preserving and promoting heritage values, and local and regional governance.
As for local and regional governance,measures were put forth to build inter-regional links in preserving cultural heritages; promoting the role of communities in the process of restoration and preservation cultural heritages and socio-economic development; promoting the role of the State, firms and communities in therestoration and preservation cultural heritages and socio-economic development; and the restoration of old architecture, rituals and costumes under the Dinh-Le dynasties.
The workshop was one of the scientific activities of important significance and contributed scientific and objectiveevidence, experiences and lessons for Ninh Binh to build policies,successfully implement its major goals, and make proposals to the centralgovernment for issuing suitable policies and mechanisms.
