Inauguration, ground-breaking ceremonies of works to celebrate 200th anniversary of Ninh Binh's appellation and 30 years of its re-establishment
Top provincial leaders attended these events.
The ground-breaking ceremony of an organic fertilizer manufacturing plant in Khanh Phu Industrial Zone saw the attendance of Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.
The organic fertilizer manufacturing plant, which covers an area of 10 hectares, has total investment capital of 500 billion VND funded by the Ninh Binh Organics Joint Stock Company.
The plant has a designed capacity of 200,000 tonnes of organic fertilizers of all kinds. When the plant comes into operation, it will provide jobs for 200 labourers and earn 1.07 trillion VND per year, contributing an estimate 50 billion VND to the state budget.
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son stressed that the plant will provide organic fertilizer products for agricultural production, which are useful to farming and friendly to the environment.
It will create more jobs for local people and contribute to the province's socio-economic development as well, he said.
Son urged the investor to mobilise all resources to expedite the project as scheduled. During the implementation of the project, the investor must observe all regulations related to labour safety, construction and environmental hygiene.
* Later, the provincial leaders attended the inauguration ceremony of Ninh Binh hi-tech steel casting factory in Khanh Phu Industrial Zone.
The Ninh Binh hi-tech steel casting factory, which is invested by the Moon Mechnical Group JSC, covers an area of 6 hectares at the Khanh Phu Industrial Zone. It has total investment capital of 446 billion VND, and creates jobs for 180 local labourers with an average monthly wage of 7 million per worker per month.
It is expected to generate an industrial production value of 439 billion VND and contribute more than 20 billion VND to the state budget a year.
This is seen as an outstanding project funded by non-state investment to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Ninh Binh's appellation and 30 years of its re-establishment.
* The same day, speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Global Tone cosmetic manufacturing plant in Khanh Thuong industrial cluster in Yen Mo district, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung expressed his hope that the project would reap more achievements, create jobs for local people and contribute to the locality's socio-economic development when it goes into operation.
He also asked authorities and sectors to create favourable conditions, improve the business climate and remove difficulties so that local enterprises could operate conveniently.
On March 22, Hoa Lu district's authorities held a ground-breaking ceremony for Ninh Van Secondary School and an inauguration ceremony for Ninh An Primary School.
The same day, work started on a project to upgrade and expand Nguyen Hue street in Ninh Binh city.
These projects are of great significance selected by the localities to mark the 200th anniversary of Ninh Binh's appellation and 30 years of the province's re-establishment.
