The Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province on September 4 organised an inauguration ceremony of Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted and started the new school year of 2020-2021.

Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Tran Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Dinh Van Dien, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, sectors and agencies, and districts, among others.
Nearly 1500 teachers and students of the Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted also attended the ceremony.
The Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted is designed to meet national standards. Construction of the school started in December 2018 and it was selected as a key project to welcome the 22nd Congress of the provincial Party Organisation.

The school covers an area of 42,000 sq.m and was built at a cost of 396 billion VND. It is equipped with modern furniture and functional rooms.
Addressing the event, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha spoke highly of the school's outstanding achievements in the 2019- 2020 school year.
She stressed that Ninh Binh authorities always support and create favourable conditions and resources for the Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted to continue building an education environment with creative programmes meeting the demand of society.
The school should strive to become a model high school in the province, Ha said.
At the event, the provincial leaders cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new school and carried out a name-plate laying ceremony for the Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted to welcome the 22nd Provincial Party Congress.
