Hoa Lu ancient capital historical-cultural relic site suspends receiving tourists amid COVID-19 fears

The move came after the Hoa Lu ancient capital historical-cultural preservation center found that one of the four foreign tourists confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Quang Ninh province had previously visited the Hoa Lu ancient capital relic site.

The foreign tourist made a visit to the Hoa Lu ancient capital relic site at around 3:00 pm on March 4.

The Hoa Lu ancient capital historical-cultural preservation center has coordinated with relevant agencies to spray disinfectant to sterilize the whole area.

At the same time, the center decided to suspend receiving visitors from March 11.

The reopening of the relic site for tourists will be informed soon in accordance with the instructions of competent agencies.
