Health Minister works with Ninh Binh province

According to a report presented by Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Committee Tong Quang Thin, the province's health sector has made comprehensive achievements. The health insurance covered 90% of the province's population, he said. Ninh Binh has focused on developing medical facilities to ensure health care services for the general public,thus effectively implementing the national target programmes on public health, he added.

 The quality of medical equipment and health workers in the province has been improved. Currently, Ninh Binh has successfully merged small medical centers into one, or two dependings on tasks and works, he said.

 Speaking at the working session, Minister Tien lauded Ninh Binh's achievevements on implementing the State's resolutions on public health care.

 The infrastrure and equipment for health care facilities have been guaranteed with more qualified staff, thus providing quality care for patients and general public, she said.

 Minister Tien urged Ninh Binh to continue implementing the plan on improving the quality of medical staff and called for all resources to invest in medical equipment and facilities, especially for grassroots clinics.
