Hanoi among world's top 10 most attractive destinations

The Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi ranked eighth among top 10 most attractive destinations in the world in 2014, according to the US prestigious travel magazine TripAdvisor.
Asia has four cities on the list, including Hanoi, Beijing and Shanghai (China), and Siem Reap (Cambodia).
Istanbul of Turkey ranked first, followed by Rome (Italy) and London (the UK).
The magazine said that under the thousand-year-old history of development, Hanoi has various natural travel resources and cultural identities with the Old Quarter and traditional craft villages which have attracted a large number of visitors over recent years.
The list was based on positive ballots from millions of TripAdvisor readers, travelers and experts around the world in 12 months.
