Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Thanh briefed the delegation on how the Party Committee guides the socio-economic development through resolutions issued during its tenure.
He said the locality has utilised its cultural and geographical advantages and enacted a number of investment attraction policies to develop industry.
Ninh Binh is now home to 7 industrial clusters, drawing over 1.5 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI).
The provinceis among leading provinces nationwide in implementing the new rural development with 32 communes meeting national standards.
The economic structure saw higher contributions from the services sector with 42 percent and industry - construction with 44 percent, while the agro - fishery - forestry made up only 13 percent.
The province is also famous for numerous beautiful destinations, notably Trang An landscape complex that has been recognised by UNESCO as a world cultural and natural heritage.
Speaking during the working session, Ms Lydia Samarbakhsh, Politburo member, head of the FCP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, thanked the host for the warm reception.
She lauded the achievements that Ninh Binh had gained during the Renewal time; and said that the visit to the province made it clearer the outcomes of the implementation of State and Party policies at local level.
She also expressed her wish that the relationship between two countries and that of Ninh Binh and France in particular will be deepened.
In the time to come, Ninh Binh should regularly inform French investors about investments opportunities, she added.
The same day, the French delegation visited some destinations in the province.
