First session of 15th provincial People's Council opens

The opening session saw the attendance of Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee's Board for Deputy Affairs Nguyen Thi Thanh; Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the province's delegation of 
NA deputies Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Chairman of the 14^th provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang; and Chairman of the 14th provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, among others.

Opening the session, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Tran Hong Quang said that the session will give ideas on many important issues related to the apparatus and operations of State administrative agencies and units during the 2021-2026 tenure. It will also vote for the positions of the provincial People's Council and provincial People's Committee; and contribute ideas to other documents mentioned in the session.

In her remarks, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stressed that the first session of the 15^th provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term will discuss many important issues, therefore, delegates should promote their responsibilities in voting competent candidates for the leadership positions of the provincial People's Council and People's Committee.

The provincial People's Council needs to continue renovating its operations effectively and comprehensively, particularly in issuing policies and mechanisms in line with reality and law, she said. 

The elected deputies must embark on the implementation of their own action programmes and well accomplish their responsibilities and roles as representatives of the people, Ha said.

The provincial People's Committee must take the initiative and make greater efforts to remove shortcomings, and hindrances which could prevent the province's development in all fields.

As scheduled, the first session of the 15^th Ninh Binh People's Council will conclude later on the same day.
