Representatives of nearly 150 travel companies and press agencies in the country joined the famtrip.
The delegation visited some historical sites of Gia Vien district, including Tombs of Dinh Kings, Ky Lan Pagoda, Dinh Tien Hoang King Temple and DucThanh Nguyen Temple where they were provided with information about the lives an contributions of King Dinh Tien Hoang and Zen Buddhist Nguyen Minh Khong.
They also visited Kenh Ga floating village and Minawa Kenh Ga Resort &Spa.
The famtrip was a practical activity to introduce and promote Ninh Binh's tourism. It also offered a chance for travel firms, press agencies and state management units to exchange information, survey and promote new tourism products.
At the same time, the real situation was evaluated and solutions were put forth to improve the quality of tourism products in combination with introducing and promoting them, then attracting more visitors to Ninh Binh in the coming time.
The famtrip programme will last until May 27. The delegation is scheduled tovisit and explore Trang An ecological site, an agro-tourism model in Khanh Thien commune of Yen Khanh district, and Hoa Lu Old Quarter at night.
