He was accompanied by the Greek Ambassador to Vietnam and his spouse. He had a working session with Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Dien, which also saw the presence of representatives of the People's Committee's Office and the General Director of XuanTruong group.Chairman Dien warmly welcomed the Vice President and his entourage and briefed his guest sof the province's development potential and advantages. He told his guests that local authorities are working on how to preserve the world natural heritage site in the locality and sought Dimitis Papadimoulis's assistance in popularizing Ninh Binh tourism potential, preserving natural heritage, and drawing more Greek investors to the province.
Prior to the working session, Dimitris Papadimoulis and his entourage toured the world heritage siteTrang An landscape complex and Bai Dinh pagoda. He thanked the host for warm welcome and said he was impressed by the gorgeous beauty possessed by NinhBinh.
"I will introduce NinhBinh tourism to Greek people at home," he pledged.
Dimitris Papadimoulis said he strongly believes that the relationship between Greece and Vietnam will be growing in the coming time.
