Located in Son Ha commune, Nho Quan district, about 24 kilometers northwest from Ninh Binh city is Thien Ha ecotourism site, which consists of Thien Ha and Thien Thanh caves lying deep inside Tuong mountain range.
Visitors will take aboat trip, travelling along a small canal of about 1 km long, then continue walking on a steep rock path leading to Thien Thanh cave. The dry cave of Thien Thanh has a length of 50m,and is a wonderful subterranean world abundant with stunning sculptures of stalactite and stalagmites.
The Thien Ha cave is about hundreds of meters away from the Thien Thanh cave. It has 700 meters in length, including one dry and one wet caves.
The dry cave is 200m long, with a light well. When the sun shines through the light hole,sparkling the majestic beauty of stalactites and stalagmites, visitors will feel lost in a kingdom of gold stone.
Then, to enter the wet cave, they will take another boat trip on a little dark small canal called Galaxy by local people. Most visitors will be excited because of spectacular scenery rocks in the cave.
According to British scientists, Thien Ha is a living cave because it is constantly changing and growing. It keeps nature conditions from thousands of years with trace of ancient people, tools, and animals. It provides habitats for bats.
Thien Ha ecotourism site has been invested by Ngoi Sao limited company, and it is currently a must-see destination for visitors when they come to Ninh Binh.
