Dinh Bo Linh study encouragement fund grants scholarship to students, athletes in Ninh Binh

Addressing the presentation, attended by Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Nam, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh commended the 227 students and athletes who made remarkable achievements in studying, scientific research and sports.

Many of them won prizes at national and international contests or entered universities with good marks, others secured medals at regional and international junior sports competitions, said Thanh,who is also Managing Director of the fund.

More than 963 million VND (4.1million USD) was presented to award winners at the ceremony.

The fund, established in March 2012, has granted scholarships and rewards to approximately 2.000 students, athletes, and pupils living in difficult circumstances in the province so far and over 3 billion VND (129 million USD) was provided to Study encouragment funds of districts and cities in the province. To date, to total fund reaches over 31 billion VND (13 million USD).
