Accordingly, by 2035, Ninh Binh will become a centrally-run city with typical characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and a creative city.
Ninh Binh is also determined to become a big centre with a high brand value in terms of tourism, cultural industry and heritage economy of the whole country and in Southeast Asia; a leading modern automobile industry hub; and basically form a synchronic innovation and startup ecosystem.
The province's per capita income is hoped to reach 200 million VND per year. It will strive to become one of the 10 provinces and centrally-run cities having the highest per capita income while the poverty rate is expected to fell below 2% under multidimensional standards.
The industry and construction sector is expected to contribute 45.3% of the province's GRDP while the service sector accounts for 38.3%, the agri-forestry-fishery sector makes up 5.3%; service sector take up 38.3% and taxes account for 11.1%.
In a bid to fulfill the set targets, Ninh Binh needs to develop automobile mechanic, hi-tech, tourism, cultural industry with high-class products and services.
The tourism sector is considered to be spearhead sector with its own typical brand name and image associated with potential and values of the Hoa Lu ancient capital and Trang An heritage site.
