Deputy Minister of Education and Training inspects preparations for national high school graduation exam in Ninh Binh

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, who is also Head of the National Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in 2023, on May 26 led a delegation to inspect the preparations for the event in Ninh Binh province.

Working with the provincial Department of Education and Training, the delegation heard a report on the preparations for the exam.
This year, 11,147 local students have registered for the high school graduation exam. They will sit for the exam in 475 rooms at 33 locations in the province.
A total of 1,650 officials, experts and teachers will be mobilised to oversee the exam.
Currently, the province is preparing facilities, equipment and machinery serving the exam.
Speaking at the working session, Thuong spoke highly of Ninh Binh's preparations for the exam as well as the achievements the provincial education and training sector has obtained in the past years.
The Deputy Minister asked Ninh Binh to pay more attention to training officials, experts and teachers who will monitor the exam; fully prepare facilities and equipment at exam locations; and arrange places to store exam questions and students' test papers.
At the same time, the province should step up coordination among departments, sectors and agencies in organising the exam and enhance the inspection and monitoring work during the exam, he added.
Later, the delegation paid field trips to Gia Vien B High School and Luong Van Tuy High School for Gifted Students to inspect the teaching and studying of 12th graders as well as preparations for the exam.
