Delegation of Asan City Council pay working visit to Ninh Binh

Tuat briefed the guests about the province's potential, strengths and socio-economic development situation as well as outstanding achievements of the provincial People's Council and its boards in the past years.

He also spoke highly of the delegation's visit, adding that it would be an valuable opportunity for the two sides to share operating experiences  of people-elected deputies, thereby further tightening cooperative relations between Ninh Binh and Asan city in particular and between Vietnam and the RoK in general.

For his part, Meang congratulated Ninh Binh on its important achievements and expressed his belief that the province would further develop in the coming time.

The official also hoped that the two sides would step up exchange activities and cooperation for mutual development, thus boosting cooperative ties between the two localities and expanding diplomatic relations between the two countries.

As part of the visit, the delegation had a working session with permanent members of the Ninh Binh provincial People's Council.

At the working session, the two sides exchanged experiences in implementing policies on labour export, especially the sending of labourers to work in the RoK as well as policies on socio-cultural affairs, and tourism and transport development.

Besides, the two sides also discussed several contents of cooperation in different fields.

Accordingly, the Asan City Council will support Ninh Binh to launch tours for Korean tourists to Ninh Binh, and develop cultural and social activities.

Asan city and Ninh Binh will continue to build programmes and projects to advertise potential and attract investment in the two localities.

The two sides will also step up cooperation in the fields of training, human resources development, jobs, and scientific research.

Previously, the delegation visited and offered incense at Hoa Lu ancient capital and visited some famous destinations.
