Vietnam won two silver medals in cycling and athletics on day 10 of the 17th Asian Games (Asiad) in Incheon, raising their medal tally to 30 - one gold, nine silver and 20 bronze.
Nguyen Thi That notched the first ever Asiad cycling medal for Vietnam as she finished runner-up in the women's road race, behind the fastest, Jutatip Manneephan of Thailand.
Bui Thi Thu Thao added another silver medal to Vietnam's collection with her second-place finish in the women's long jump final. Thao recorded a jump of 6.44 metres, 11 centimetres shorter than that of the gold medallist, Maria Natalia Londa of Indonesia.
In the men's 1,500m final, Duong Van Thai missed out on medal, finishing eighth among 11 finalists despite clocking a personal best of 3:50.50.
