Cuc Phuong National Park to host spring festival during Tet holiday

The tourism week has the theme of "Cuc Phuong spring festival - more green for the primitive forest". 

As scheduled, on February 4, the 23rd day of the last lunar month of the Year of the Rat, a maze model and a clusters of traditional fork games will be launched at Mac Lake area.

At the same time, other activities will take place such as making traditional Chung cakes (Vietnamese square sticky rice cakes) to present as Tet gifts to forest ranger stations and poor households in Cuc Phuong commune.

A workshop named "Multicolor - the only love" will be performed by the group of Urban Sketchers Hanoi and friends on February 14 and 15 - the third and fourth days of the first lunar month of the Year of the Ox.

The group will jointly draw a big painting on the theme of protecting the mother of nature Cuc Phuong. A fashion show with the theme of environment and nature protection will be organised on February 14 night. 

The programme "Growing more trees in the Cuc Phuong National Park" will provide a chance for visitors to plant trees when coming here on these days.

This is the first time the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board to organise a series of large-scale events. The programme is hoped to build Cuc Phuong into a model national park, offering education and nature experiences for visitors, and a distinctive tourism product during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) Holiday.
