On August 19th, the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Economics and leaders of some departments, ministries and central branches attended a meeting of the Ninh Binh Party Committee's Standing Board to give comments on the draft document to the 22nd provincial Party Congress (term 2020-2025).
The event was co-hosted by Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Economics, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, PCC member and Secretary of the Ninh Binh Party Committee.
The draft political report of Ninh Binh outlines the following targets: strengthening Party building and rectification and a transparent and strong political system; promoting democracy and the unity of the entire people; boosting application of science and technology; mobilizing and effectively using all resources for rapid and sustainable development with hi-tech industry, clean technology, organic and advanced agriculture; and focusing on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
Ninh Binh will gradually finalize synchronous and modern infrastructure; build smart urban system; and promote coastal economic development. In addition, the northern province will comprehensively develop social and cultural fields, ensure social welfare and improve the material and spiritual life of people.
The locality will be built into a national tourism center. By 2030, it strives to become a well-developed province in the Red River Delta.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stressed aiming at development in the 2020-2025 period and the following years in accordance with the complicated situation of the country and the world; Ninh Binh hoped the PCC Commission for Economics, departments, ministries and branches would contribute ideas to help the province complete the Document before submitting to the Politburo and the 22nd Ninh Binh Party Congress (term 2020-2025).
