The delegates agreed with the adjustments made by Kim Son authorities and consulting unit at the request of the Standing Board of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and defined aroadmap, financial resources to ensure the feasibility of the planning scheme.
According to the scheme, Kim Son will become a key region for tourism development in the province with diverse types of spiritual tourism, ecological tourism and resort tourism combined with sightseeing.
It will be a general economic region of industry, tourism services, agriculture, aquaculture, and marine shipping, playing an important role in developing the province's socio-economic development. It will also be a traffic hub that connect Ninh Binh with other coastal provinces and coastal economic regions nationwide.
Kim Son will have two urban areas (Phat Diem and Binh Minh), one center (Con Noi), and two economic corridors.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha urged the Party Civil Affairs Board of the provincial People's Committee to consider, review and finalise the scheme in line with Resolution No.10-NQ/TW of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defence-security in the Red River Delta to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and Resolution No.11 dated June 26, 2022 of the provincial Party Committee on developing the Kim Son marine economic region.
