The delegation was led by Do Viet Anh, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Board for Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Anh extended the best greetings to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers in Ninh Binh province.
He acknowledged and thanked the Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers for their contributions to the province's socio-economic development and security-defence maintenance over the recent past.
Amid complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the executive committees of the provincial and district-level Vietnam Buddhist Sanghas have actively encouraged Buddhist monks, nuns and followers and places of worship to strictly implement pandemic prevention and control measures, he said.
They have also provided resources to support the province's fight against the pandemic, Anh added.
The official hoped that Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers will continue to uphold the spirit of great national solidarity, well perform the Party's policies and guidelines as well as the State's laws, actively participate in emulative movements and fully join the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure.
Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the provincial the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, thanked provincial leaders for creating favourable conditions for Buddhist activities in the recent past.
