Close to 750,000 tourists visit Ninh Binh during Tet holidays

The northern province of Ninh Binh welcomed nearly 750,000 visitors during the 2017 Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays from January 27-February 5.
The figure showed an increase of over 10% compared to the same period in 2016, according to the statistics of the provincial Department of Tourism. Among the guests, international tourists numbered 30,000, up nearly 20% against the same period last year.
During the Tet holidays, various visitors toured some key cultural tourism sites in the province such as Bai Dinh pagoda, Ecological site of TrangAn, TamCoc-Bich dong, and Hoa
The Department of Tourism has cooperated with related functional departments, branches, and local authorities to ensure social order, food safety, transport safety, and prices for visitors.
