Chairman of provincial People's Council congratulates medical staff on Vietnamese Doctors' Day

At health establishments, Quang highly appreciated the achievements and contributions of the health sector in providing healthcare services for people in the recent past.

In particular, with its comprehensive efforts and ability, the provincial health sector initially controlled and prevented the spread of the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in the province.

Quang also hoped that doctors and medical staff would make greater efforts in providing preventive healthcare services for local people and the health sector would apply high technologies while continuing to stay on the high alert and be ready to cope with the COVID-19 disease.

The health sector and medical establishments need to focus on reforming the way of serving patients, developing human resources and stepping up scientific research with the aim of improving the quality of medical checks-up and treatment, he added.

On this occasion, Quang also visited and congratulated Meritorious Doctor Pham Cao Phong, Vice Director of the Ninh Binh General Hospital.

He highly appreciated and thanked Dr Phong for his outstanding contributions to the province's health sector over the past years.
