Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc on October 5 had a working session with a delegation from Saiki city in the Japanese prefecture of Oita, led by its Mayor Tanaka Toshiaki.

Speaking at the meeting, Ngoc expressed his pleasure to receive the Japanese delegation and informed his guests about Ninh Binh's potential, advantages and socio-economic situation.
In its long-term development orientation, Ninh Binh will take the cultural foundation and promote the value of Trang An Cultural and Natural Heritage values as momentum and industry as a pillar for sustainable development while the agriculture sector will focus on the province's natural conditions to develop, he said.
At the same time, the province's administration will pay more attention to expanding international cooperation, the Chairman added.
Ngoc expressed his wish that Toshiaki and the delegation would serve as a bridge to introduce Ninh Binh's potential and strengths to Japanese investors, thus expanding and deepening the strategic partnership between Ninh Binh and Saiki city.
Toshiaki said that the visit played an significant role in enhancing the cooperation between Ninh Binh and Saiki and served as an opportunity for Saiki investors to seek investment and cooperation partners in the province.
The mayor hoped to cooperate with Ninh Binh in the fields of tourism, education, traditional art and culture and sports, and boost linkages among enterprises of the two sides.
At the working session, the two sides exchanged views on numerous issues related to the socio-economic development situation of the two localities, especially investment attraction and ensuring electricity for production.
They also expressed their belief that the friendship and cooperation between the two nations and the two localities would be strengthened.
