At the working session, Ngoc briefed the guests about the province's geological location, natural conditions, potential and advantages and socio-economic development situation.
Kansai region and Ninh Binh province share many similarities in culture, history, and unique natural landscapes. Kansai is the cradle of Japan civilisation with two ancient capitals of Nara and Kyoto while Ninh Binh used to be the capital of the first feudal state of Vietnam in the 10th century.
The two sides also have common views on sustainable development and prioritizing preservation and upholding of cultural-historical-traditional values of the nation.
Ninh Binh's leaders hoped the visit would help businesses and education establishments of the two sides explore cooperation opportunities in the fields of foreign language training, labour, clean industry, tourism, and hi-tech agriculture.
Keiichi, President of the EHLE institute, said that the delegation would introduce Ninh Binh's potential and strengths to Japanese investors to foster multi-sectoral cooperation.
He also hoped that the visit would help develop cooperative relations between Ninh Binh and Kansai.
As part of the visit, the Japanese delegation made a tour of Hoa Lu ancient capital.
